Access to our Library Catalog is coming soon!

1. Type in the Search Box: Title, Subject, or Author’s last name.
2. Click on Go.  
3. A list of titles will appear on the screen.
   • Example: If we  typed in Bears, we would get a list of books about Bears.    
4. You can limit your search to fiction (story) or non-fiction (fact).    
   • To do this, move the cursor to the black arrow on the  right side of the box and scroll (pull) down to Fiction or Non Fiction.    
5. For fact books click on Non Fiction.
   • Our list would now show only fact books.
6. Click on a title for information about the book.
7. Move the cursor to the arrow on the right of the screen.  
   • Scroll (pull) down to see if the book is available.  
   • It will  say "Checked In", or "Checked Out."
8. Now read "How to use the Computer Catalog to help you find books on the shelves" below.

1. Write the book title and call number on a piece of paper.  
   • Example: Bears, 599.78 HOL.  
   • The Hol stands for the first three letters of the author’s last name.
   • This book is written by Katie Holmes.      
   • Find the 599 numbers on the Non Fiction shelves.  Look along the row and down the column until you find 599.78.    
2. Look alphabetically for H.  Look along the H’s until you come to HOL.  
   • If for some reason the book is not there, note that other books on the same subject should be in the same area.
